Paul and John are the duo behind Discover Tenkara but their fishing knowledge and skills extend way beyond Tenkara.
In this day long masterclass they will take you through:
- Rigging – matching rigs to tactics & conditions
- Reading the Water
- Fly Selection (using simple ecology and animal behaviour)
- Casting French leader rigs
- Positioning yourself for stealth (using animal behaviour/biology)
- Positioning yourself for presentation (drawing from the best anglers and angling schools from around the world)
- Drift Control & drift Modification
- Take Detection
The format will be instream demonstration followed by guided practice. Held at the BCAA stretch of the Aire at Broughton near Gargrave, North Yorkshire
This is an opportunity learn from two masters of nymphing technique. There are fifteen places available, the fee is £60.
