THIS FISHERY IS OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND. FISHING IS FOR MEMBERS ONLY, AND NO DAY TICKETS OR NIGHT PERMITS ARE ISSUED.

BCAA HAS NOW FENCED THE LAKE TO KEEP OUT OTTERS. ALL GATES MUST BE SHUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE, EVEN IF OTHER ANGLERS ARE FISHING. HELP US LOOK AFTER YOUR FISHING!!

The fishery is situated on Broad Head Lane next to Oakworth Boarding Cattery (postcode BD22 0QN), near Oakworth and about 5 miles from Keighley. It was acquired by Bradford City AA in May 2011 from the previous owners, a private syndicate.

It consists of two purpose-built ponds, stocked with a range of silver fish, carp, tench, rudd, bream, perch, chub and ide.

The larger lake contains crucian and common carp, tench, rudd, bream, perch, chub and ide.

The smaller lake contains mostly roach, perch and barbel, with a small head of carp.

Anglers must only enter and leave the fishery down the track, through the locked gate just to the east of the Cattery. The key to the lock on the gate is the standard BCAA key, which also fits the locks on the Staveley, Shipton and Skir Beck fisheries. Keys can be obtained from most BCAA Agents, or by post from the Membership Secretary (see contact details).
