Please note however, that due to resignation of the Match Secretary, all matches on the calendar have been cancelled with immediate effect. When a new Match Secretary has been appointed, announcements will be placed on this website, on social media and in the press.


Match Secretary:

  1. BCAA Match tickets are available to BCAA members only until 4pm on the Friday preceding the Match. Please note that all Match tickets must be pre-booked with the Match Secretary, to avoid people turning up and hoping to fish, but being disappointed if all pegs have been sold.
  2. Anglers cancelling Match tickets after the Friday prior to the match shall be liable to pay the full amount of the ticket.
  3. All Association Matches are fished to N.F.A. (Model) Rules.
  4. The River Aire and Ure at Boroughbridge are liable to occasional mid-week matches. Contact the Match Secretary or see local Press or website for information.
  5. Anglers fishing BCAA matches must retain their official match entry receipt and show it when asked to do so.
  6. All members aged 60 or above are eligible to fish the Veterans’ Match
  7. The draw for Staveley matches is held at the lakeside. Lower Dunsforth and Boroughbridge matches are drawn at Dunsforth Lodge. All draws are held at 8.30am.
