Yorkshire Water due to the dangerous
state of the banking. The Association is
currently talking with them about

Don't let the name
confuse you. Bradford City Angling
Association does have fishing a short
bus ride from the centre of Bradford in
Yorkshire but a glance at the Waters
page will show just how many other
fishing waters the Association has,
scattered throughout the Yorkshire
Dales.
Whether your interest is in catching a
20lb carp from the Association's own
lakes, ‘match fishing’ or trying to
outwit the trout on one of our
‘fly-only’ river beats, you are well
catered for. You might even try for a
salmon or sea-trout on our own stretch
of the River Ribble.
Membership costs not much more than you
might pay for just a couple of days’
fishing on a good trout or coarse
fishery but gives you access to our
waters for a full 12 months’ fishing.
Guest tickets are also available for
members to take friends for a day's
fishing.
The Association has a thriving
Fly-Fishing Section, for those members
with that interest in. The Section
organises ‘Beginners Days’ at the
waterside for anglers new to fly fishing
and regular working parties to keep
Waters in tip-top order. We also have a
long established Match Section and the
more recently formed Specimen Section,
developed in response to members with
interests in those specialised aspects
of the sport.
