Night Permits
We offer two different night fishing permits – see below.
There are a total of 6 night fishing places available each night at Staveley, and 4 places each night at Shipton.
All holders of Annual Night Permits, and buyers of Single Night Permits, must always book online to secure their space before going fishing – please read the items below before booking. In addition, all Junior Members who wish to night fish MUST be accompanied by either their Parent or Guardian, and the Parent or Guardian must be a Member. If this is not possible, the Parent or Guardian must write to the General Secretary stating that they are agreeable for the Junior Member to night fish with a designated Adult Member, and provide details of the Adult Member.
To book, click the button below, login to your account and choose the date you wish to book. Once you have booked and paid, you will receive a booking confirmation email. Please ensure you take a copy of this email (or an e-copy on eg a SmartPhone) with you when you go fishing, to show to a bailiff if necessary.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF, AFTER BOOKING NIGHT PERMITS, EITHER SINGLE NIGHT PERMIT OR BY ANNUAL PERMIT PERMIT, YOU ARE UNABLE TO FISH, YOUR BOOKING SHOULD BE CANCELLED. BY NOT CANCELLING YOUR PERMIT YOU COULD DENY AN ANGLER A PLACE TO FISH THAT NIGHT.
Annual night permits
Cost £50 a year
An Annual Night Permit allows you to night fish at both Staveley large lake and Shipton Lake all year round from 1st January to 31st December, at no further additional cost. Only sold to BCAA members.
To purchase an Annual Night Permit log into your account and select “Start a New Membership”, Annual Night Permit is one of the options on this page.
You must also book online (at Nil cost) for each individual night you fish.
Single night permits
Cost £6
A Single Night Permit allows you to night fish at either Staveley large lake or Shipton Lake for one night only. Only sold to BCAA members.
To book click on the link below to log into your account and go to “Make a Booking”, select the date and location required. The number of places available will be displayed, click “Buy” and “Add to Cart” and so on to purchase a permit.
Once booked, you will receive a booking confirmation email. Please ensure you take a copy of this email with you when you go fishing.
