Brief description of fishery:
3,700m of fishing on the left bank only of the River Ure.  The river is slow-moving, banks are high and heavily vegetated in some places but there are many access points to the water.
Open for fishing:
25th March to the following 15th March.

Access (see maps):

Langthorpe Village – Approach on Skelton Road from Langthorpe. Just before the A168 and A1(M) overbridges, turn left down the track to the river.  Access to the lane is via a padlocked gate.  The combination code for the padlock is shown in your BCAA yearbook. PLEASE CLOSE AND LOCK THE GATE AFTER ENTERING AND LEAVING THE FISHERY.

Brampton Hall – From Newby Hall main entrance, follow the signs for Brampton and Mulwith Farm, and access the fishery via Mulwith Lane. NO CARS TO BE TAKEN DOWN TO THE RIVER.

Langthorpe Village – Park safely on Skelton Road, immediately east of the A168 and A1(M) overbridges.  Or park under the A1(M) overbridge, at the end of the access lane.

Brampton Hall – Park on the concrete standing at the farm.
