River Ure - Roecliffe Bottom
Brief description of fishery:
About 140m of fishing on the right bank of the river. The river is about 40m wide, slow moving and deep on this stretch. Both banks are very steep and heavily wooded, with long vegetation in summer.
Open for fishing:
25th March to the following 14th March
Special Rules for this fishery:
1. Upon arrival and departure, anglers must complete their details in the Campsite reception Guest Book
2. Anglers must not fish from any pontoons on the river.
3. No fishing before 8am or 1 hour before sunrise (whichever is later).
4. No fishing after 9pm or 1 hour after sunset (whichever is earlier).
Other remarks:
Caravan Club members are not allowed to fish this Water, unless they are members of BCAA.
NOTE: Giant Hogweed is present. Please take care.

Parking:
Park on Clay Pit Lane in the Industrial Estate, on the opposite side of the road from the Caravan Park.
Access:
Pedestrian access only through the Caravan Park. Access to the bank is via a locked gate in the fence, using the BCAA key for locked fisheries which members can purchase for £2.40 via their Clubmate account.
